The beret,
made the way it always was.
In 1858, Antonio Elósegui opened a beret factory on Avenida Pamplona in Tolosa, Gipuzkoa. His son continued the house. His grandchildren renamed it "Antonio Elósegui’s grandchildren" in 1920. In 1967, the house was incorporated as Boinas Elosegui S.A.
Today, three generations later, we still knit merino wool on the same street. 1,800 berets leave the factory each day. What never changes is the intention: to make the same piece, a little better than yesterday’s.
