A beret from Tolosa,
in the world.
In 170 years, one of our berets has sat on very different heads. Shepherds, fishermen, soldiers, presidents, writers, musicians, film people, grandparents, grandchildren. We don’t do cultural merchandising — we make a garment. One that turns up where people turn up.
Spanish Army
Standing regulation, multi-year contracts. Dress and field uniforms. The military channel is half of our output and the one that puts us to the test at every bid.
Premium distribution
Distributors in France, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany. Historic hat shops that have been selling the same reference to the same client for decades. Occasional collaborations with European fashion houses.
Tolosa and around
San Sebastián’s Tamborrada, Zinemaldia, Aberri Eguna, Santo Tomás. The beret is still a functional and symbolic object at once. The Olentzero wears it. The aitonas wear it. Anyone who wants to keeps wearing it.
"A beret doesn’t make the man. But the man who wears one, you can tell."
